New Years Resolutions – Keep it simple

It’s that time of year again, out with the old in with the new! So do we dare get into the New Years resolutions? It depends, do we actually stand by them throughout the year, or does it become a distance memory as the year passes. I’m thinking a little bit of both. I can’t remember keeping one single resolution. However, I know there are some people out there that manage to make it through. These are the top New Years resolutions I’ve found people make the most.

10. “I’m gonna stop dressing my chihuahua up like Tinker Bell on Halloween. She doesn’t like it and poops glitter for weeks.” — lady in a cafe with glitter all over her body.

9. Change your health outlook

8. Stick to a budget

7. Enjoy More Quality Time with Family & Friends

6. Quit Smoking

5. Find a better job

4. Read outside the box

3. Read more

2. Blog more

1. Give more

Even though we may mean to do the things that we say, it doesn’t always happen that way. The best way to hold on to your new years resolution is to keep it simple. Don’t slack off, just do it. Yeah that may be easier said then done but try it you might just surprise yourself. As for me, I don’t have a long list of resolutions to keep up with. I’m going the simple route. My New Years resolution is to read the Bible in it’s entirety. You might think, that’s not simple. True the Bible is not a easy task to tackle but it is just one task. With the focus on just that task I have confidence I can get it done. As for you, what’s your New Years resolution?
